HFF – Historical Fencing Finland was founded at the start of 2025 by Ties Kool and Kristian Ruokonen. The HFF offers 2 training sessions a week with the Longsword.
Trainings will start with a warm up, then technical training, sparring drills and free sparring. The HFF has loaner gear available but members are expected to get their own gear when possible.
The HFF follows the German longsword tradition for the most part but will also include other fencing masters or systems. Our goal is to teach our members to fence with the lonsgsword.
